Snap! Lenny Kravitz reveals he and Super Bowl halftime co-star Katy Perry got matching finger tattoos by the same artist

Lenny Kravitz has revealed the finger tattoo he got to honor his daughter Zoe.

The musician showed off a solitary Z on the base of his ring finger, just hours after his Super Bowl duet partner Katy Perry unveiled her finger tattoo by the same artist.

Celebrity tattooer Bang Bang, whose real name is Keith McCurdy, was flown the the Super Bowl game and even given tickets by Perry in return for the commemorative XLIX he inscribed on her ring finger to commemorate her spectacular halftime performance on Sunday.

‘@katyperry thank you for bringing me to the Super Bowl! Thank you for the ticket! Thank you for the incredible experience! Thank you for being amazing,’ he posted to his Instagram page on Monday, with a pic of him tattooing the singer.

But only hours later he posted a second picture of Lenny Kravitz showing off another tattoo on the exact same finger: this time a lone Z.

‘for @zoeisabellakravitz I have 2 daughters, and I know that no tattoo will ever mean more to this man. Im honored to have given it to him,’ Bang Bang wrote below the photo.

Kravitz, 50, and 30-year-Perry wowed the 110million people who tuned in to watch the New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks in a nail-biting final on Sunday.

Indeed the show was the most watched show in U.S. history, to Katy’s delight.

‘MOST WATCHED SHOW IN US HISTORY?! Whelp, I gotta keep reminding myself I put my pants on leg at a time… But, yes I am incredibly proud!’ she tweeted.

Katy herself posted the two pictures to her Instagram page, one of her sitting in the tattooist’s chair another close up showing her the roman lettering representing 49.

With her hair slicked back and into a high ponytail, Katy told her 14million followers: ‘I thought it would be appropriate to draw blood tonight… XLIX.

Bang Bang meanwhile is no stranger to inking celebrities: his client list also includes the likes of Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Adele and Rita Ora.

But what’s unusual about this tattoo artist is he let’s his celeb clients tattoo him.

McCurdy has an ‘autograph leg’ on which he let’s the famous people he’s tattooed ink him in return. He has a little candy face by Katy Perry, a mouse by Justin Bieber and – his personal favorite – a tiny umbrella from Rihanna.
