Gabriel Martinelli had the opportunity to join Man Utd, as revealed by agent Luiz Antonio Moraes to The Athletic.
The Brazilian had four separate trials with Man United as a youth and he even featured in a friendly match for the Manchester Red Devils’ Under-18 team. However, Man Utd did not recruit.

After that, Martinelli spent two weeks with Barcelona but the La Liga giants were not interested in recruiting this talent to the youth team.

At just 22 years old, he has already become a crucial player for Arsenal.
While maintaining his tҺrilling wing play, he has also enhanced his consistency and goal-scoring ability. In the upcoming weeks, he’ll likely get his first taste of Champions League football, with hopes of adding to his current total of seven caps for his country.
The Arsenal star may have had a fantastic opportunity to sign with United. If Martinelli had been signed, Alejandro Garnacho might not have had as many opportunities.
