Eden is one of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet, but her life has been far from sweet. She’s been through a lot.

If he could talk, I’m sure his story would make you cry. Unfortunately, we’ll never know the whole truth, which may be for the best.

Life under a tree

No one knew how Eden ended up living under a tree, but one thing was certain: she had been there for quite some time.

From time to time people would stop and give him animals. Someone had left him a large bucket of water and some kibble so he wouldn’t go hungry.

But most of the time, her stomach was empty, yearning for some healthy food. Eden had become so thin from lack of food and water that it hurt to lie down.

People passed by and saw her, but no one wanted to come to her aid.

Eden’s life was spent under the tree, but that was all she knew. She was probably abandoned there, so she stayed there waiting for them to return.

Eden only wanted love and hugs, but instead she received cold, scary nights with no one to keep her safe.

When Suzette Hall, founder of Logan’s ɩeɡасу Dog Rescue in Irvine, California, heard about this sweet dog in need, she wasted no time in getting there to save her.

“She was under that tree for weeks and weeks,” Suzette told The Dodo. “She refused to leave.”

Eden started moving her weak body and giving Suzette kisses as soon as she saw her. She still had a lot of love in her.

Suzette was on her way to save Eden. She was finally going to end her life under the tree.

But this sweet little pup was so frail and sick that she needed immediate medical attention.

Life in the һosѕріtаɩ

Eden was brought to Camino Pet һoѕріtаɩ in Orange County, California by Suzette. She was given a bath, but was soon noticed to be dangerously underweight… skin and bones, and suffering from a һoггіЬɩe skin condition.

As a result, they began treating her.

His life under the tree had been supplanted by his life in the һoѕріtаɩ.

Eden, on the other hand, now had her own bed, running water, and delicious meals. She was finally able to lie down in a comfortable bed without shivering or suffering agony.

She was getting better day by day and her sweet personality was blossoming.

“She’s the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet,” Suzette exclaimed. “She’s just a lover.”

Eden was placed in her own kennel at the һoѕріtаɩ, where she could rest and heal more quickly. Eden slept the first few days, but as soon as she started to feel better, she was up and ready to find love.

At that point, they noticed a small paw sticking out between the bars of the kennel.

Eden just wanted to hug and be loved.

He stretched out his grey and white paw and asked everyone who passed by to hold their hand. Then people began to hold his hand.

“She will take your hand and then make the sweetest howl ever, like she is saying, ‘I love you,’” he added. “Thank you for noticing me.”

Eden was still searching for her forever home, even though she had many people who loved her and came back to hold her hand.

All he wanted was his own family…

Life in a forever home

They soon realized that Eden would need a one-dog family because she was not comfortable around other dogs.

It wasn’t easy to locate someone…

But it was his loving handshake that brought her to her forever home.

A family found out about Eden and her tragic past and fell in love with her immediately. Eden was clearly meant to be with them.

So the time has come for Eden to say goodbye to her past and start a new life in her new home, surrounded by people who love her.

Eden’s life will be nothing but warmth, comfort and love from now on.
