She found herself coming under fire earlier this year due to her bikini body and was even branded a ‘chubster’ by Katie Hopkins earlier this week.
But proving she’s not one to let what anyone else thinks of her ruin her fun, Kelly Brook posted a series of snaps of herself in her bikini on Friday morning.
Showing off her fabulous figure, which looks more toned than a couple of months ago, the 33-year-old captioned her headless ‘selfie’: ‘Chillin on holiday reading all your lovely comments.. Ignore the Haters I do
Lying on her back, Kelly is participating in the trend of ‘body surfing’ which sees someone take a picture of their usually bikini-clad body without featuring their head.
The striped bikini, which is the Via Angolia Bia bikini, is the same one as she was spotted wearing in June of this year during a break in Mexico.
The two-piece, or lack off, made headlines after she was spotted sunbathing topless making the most of the sun.
But on Friday the star kept it firmly on as she enjoyed her current holiday. Sharing another picture of her in the bikini, again without her head on show, she wrote: ‘Back in the bikini hitting the beach….. What you sayin?’
Earlier this week, former Apprentice contestant Katie caused a storm when she used the unflattering adjective to describe Kelly.
Speaking to Closer magazine, Katie said: ‘I believe in “eat less, move more”. There are loads of celebrities who need to try harder too. Take Kelly Brook for example… Kelly is quite a chubster.
‘She could work harder for her body.’
It’s not the first time Kelly has been targeted over her figure. Last month Kelly found herself the target of internet trolls who mocked her figure and called her ‘fat’ after seeing the images of her in Mexico.
The abuse came after her an additional rather public row with Katie Price.
At the beginning of the week Kelly took to Twitter to reveal that she had just finished shooting her latest film.
She wrote: ‘Thats a wrap on our movie Taking Stock!! See you at the party peeps #ChampagneSlammers #Tequila #PartyTime’
Taking stock sees Kelly playing as a retail worker whose world falls apart when her boyfriend dumps her and the shop she works in goes into liquidation.
Without a job, Kate hatches a plan to rob the store she works in on their last day of trading, but in typical fashion, things don’t end up as planned.
During filming the beautiful brunette admitted to fans via Twitter that the filming schedule, which she has been doing for the past few weeks, was gruelling, sometimes beginning at around 5:30am, and doing 14 hour days, so the holiday was no doubt a welcome break.
