Shasha is the name of a man who has made it his life’s mission to adopt as many abandoned dogs as he can.
This prominent animal rights activist in Serbia opened his own dog sanctuary in 2008, which is now home to more than 750 dogs.
His journey began one night when he discovered four puppies abandoned on the side of the road. Despite his financial situation, he decided to keep the puppies and develop a plan to rescue others.
He enlisted the help of six volunteers to run this dog sanctuary, where he provided food and care to dogs in need.
This was possible thanks to the donations he received from all over the world. Shasha is a fantastic role model for dog owners and anyone who wants to be inspired by her story. She has adopted approximately 400 dogs from the center so far.
He had a conflict with the owner of the land because the land on which he opened the sanctuary was not his property. However, he requested that the owner donate the land to this good cause.
When the land issue became public, thousands of people signed a petition in support of the sanctuary and asked the government to act, even temporarily.
Shasha’s dedication and commitment to the welfare of abandoned dogs has made him a true hero to dog lovers around the world.
Despite financial and legal challenges, he has managed to create a safe and loving place for hundreds of dogs who would otherwise have suffered on the streets.
Her inspiring story proves that even one person can make a significant difference in the lives of abandoned and neglected animals. Shasha is certainly a role model for all those looking for ways to improve the world, one dog at a time.
