As a result, the dog was prepared to find Chuckie a new home with people who could care for him. Chuckie is a sweetheart who enjoys the company of other dogs, cats and children, according to Sidewalk Specials. He can also go on walks because he can follow sounds or shadows.

The woman’s act of kindness did not go unnoticed. News of the heartbreaking incident spread and touched the hearts of many. Donations poured in to support the woman’s efforts to care for the dog, as well as to help other animals in need.
