Pagani Huayra Tricolore was launched on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Italian air force’s Frecce Tricolori performance aircraft team with a limited number of 3 aircraft globally.
Recently, this supercar just had a quick cameo when appearing in front of Dominic Toretto’s house, next to the Datsun 240Z and Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept.
The Pagani Huayra Tricolore is only produced with a convertible design, based on the platform of the Huayra Roadster BC model. Each car will receive a different number on the spoiler.
The car’s rear bumper and diffuser have also been refined according to the new design language, in addition to the characteristic exhaust pipe in the form of 4 small pipes and automatic electrically controlled spoilers.
The Huayra Tricolore with the number 10 is owned by a customer in Wisconsin, USA. The ones with numbers 0 and 1 belong to customers in Switzerland and Germany.
The vehicle is also equipped with an airflow velocity measuring tube located at the front. In particular, this detail still works normally and the driver can monitor the wind speed outside.
The entire body of the car is made from carbon fiber with the signature Blu Tricolore blue light, which has been used on the super products Zonda Kiryu or Zonda Revolucion.
Many details on the car are inspired by the Frecce Tricolori fleet such as the logo, the combination of 3-color patterns (blue/white/red) running along the body of the car…
Exterior details such as headlight and taillight clusters, 20-inch App Tech wheels for the front axle and 21-inch rear axle… are finished in a characteristic matte blue color.
The car’s interior also influenced the design style of the Aermacchi MB-339A PAN demonstration aircraft with a combination of aluminum alloy and carbon fiber materials.
Similar to the exterior, the surface of details such as the dashboard, multi-function steering wheel, control panel, gear lever… are also covered with matte green metal material.
Pagani Huayra Tricolore is equipped with a 6.0L V12 twin-turbo engine hand-assembled by Mercedes-AMG, possessing 840 horsepower and 1,100 Nm of torque.
The car uses a rear-wheel drive system with a 7-speed sequential gearbox and a rear differential with electromechanical technology. The 3-disc clutch reduces the vehicle’s weight by 4 kg compared to the previous generation.
At the time of launch in December 2020, Pagani Huayra Tricolore had a starting price of about 6.7 million USD and was handed over to 3 customers in the US, Germany and Switzerland.
