At 22, Billish Eilish is a world-renowned multimillionaire musician who has won several major accolades including Grammys, Golden Globes, and an Oscar. Along with her brother and producer, Finneas, Billie Eilish bagged two major wins at the 2024 Grammys for Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media. The win came on the heels of the duo’s nomination across six categories for their Barbie hit, What Was I Made For. Reacting to the nominations prior to the ceremony, Eilish jokingly told People, “This was supposed to be an off year. Didn’t put an album out, didn’t do anything. We really made one song and we were like, ‘Here you go.’”

Including their wins this year, the Eilish siblings currently hold nine Grammy Awards.

Billie Eilish first took home five Grammys in 2020 across the big four categories: Best New Artist, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album of the Year as well as Best Pop Vocal Album. In 2021, she won Record Of The Year for Everything I Wanted and also Best Song Written For Visual Media for the James Bond film, No Time To Die.

At the 2024 Grammy awards, Billie and Finneas not only accepted two awards, but also took to the stage to deliver a mesmerising performance of What Was I Made For. Celebrating the film for which the song was produced, Eilish dressed up like a vintage Barbie doll — wearing a ’60s-inspired green dress and matching jacket along with a satin pink scarf wrapped around her hair. She also shared a photo of the vintage Barbie on her Instagram.

With Finneas accompanying her on the piano to play the soothing score, Eilish’s gentle vocals further elevated the performance and brought out the emotional resonance of the track. The song, which has already won a Golden Globe and Grammy, is also up for an Oscar in the Best Original Song category.
