DAR Rescue heard about a puppy that was alone, hiding under a bench. People were passing by and posting his pictures on Facebook asking for help.

Strangely, no one stopped to pick him up and help him. He was so small and covered in mud. It was surprising that they would leave him like that.

One of DAR’s rescuers rushed to the scene to help the poor little puppy. She couldn’t understand why the baby had been left to suffer. When she arrived and saw the helpless little girl crying, she was shocked. This puppy was in serious condition. She wouldn’t have survived for long.

The rescuer wrapped him in a blanket and put him in the car. It was time to take him to the vet. Once on the exam table, the vet pulled out ticks that had eaten his blood. There were tons of them. His eyes were infected, too. Poor baby!

The vet also tried to get him to stand up on his own, but he was too weak. It was a struggle. In addition to being malnourished, he was also anemic from parasitic blood loss.

Finally, the little one is given food and water. He is excited! When was the last time he ate? No one knows for sure.

The baby is in a bad condition, but they are working day and night to do everything possible to get him back on his feet. No one can predict the future, but now that he is safe and cared for, his future looks much brighter than before.
